March Monthly Student Challenge – Highlights

Last month for our first Monthly Student Build Challenge, we invited your students to reimagine a space in your community, school, or home in Minecraft: Education Edition: What will the space look like 100 years in the future? What did the space look like 100 years ago? How can the space change to meet a current or future need? What necessitated the changes over time?

Thank you to everyone who participated! As promised, we’re sharing some of the amazing creations that were posted on social media below. (And if this Challenge theme resonates with you or the content that you teach, we welcome you to use this Challenge prompt any time of year.)

Hisashi Hoshino’s submission was made by junior high school students and featured a teleportation launcher, sushi house, tofu with soy sauce house, and more!

Minecraft Mentor Elena Degtyareva is an English instructor from Russia. She shared some great snaps of her student’s Build Challenge contributions.

Liz Bradley from Riverside, CA worked hard with her students on the March challenge. Check out all of the amazing creations!
